There is too much, let me sum up

I’m so glad I have Tumblr feed into this blog, or nothing would be posted for months. I post way more to Facebook, Instagram, and Tumblr than to here. Here is a quick update while YS is asleep in the swing.

We had the holidays. We celebrated three of them. We learned that while we like to celebrate Yule as the family holiday, it may be easier to do more gift giving on Christmas for two reasons: 1. You have the night before to wrap gifts (mom and I were wrapping Yule gifts all day). 2. Since Christmas is a holiday and gifts are traditionally opened in the morning, this gives the children lots of time to play with the gifts, instead of letting them open them and then whisking them off to bed.

We did our traditional Star Wars (original series, theatrical release) marathon on NYE.

We went to PAX South for three days with Artemis (she came in from CT). It was amazing and wonderful and we had a fantastic time. Can’t wait for next year.

We went to Sherwood Forest Faire a few times.

We took a week vacation to Southern CA. We mostly said with my dad and step-mom in San Diego, but we also went to the ren faire near LA and got to see my heart-brother and his wife.

Little Prince is turning five in two weeks. Young Sir turned seven months earlier this week. Life is just crazy and one day I’ll catch up on photo editing and write a fuller post. I’ll just keep telling myself that…
