Pawpaw’s visit
My dad, aka Pawpaw, came to visit last week from Wednesday to Sunday. It was nice to have him around. He helped out around the house with dishes and laundry and also helped me start sorting through the mess that is covering my desk. He also napped with Young Sir a lot, which allowed me to get some stuff done.
Pawpaw also got to play a lot with Little Prince, which I think they both liked, but I’m pretty sure that LP wore him out quickly. That kid has energy.
On the Saturday he was in town, we went to Babywearers and I came home with a ring sling (oops, I wasn’t going there to rent anything).
We went out to lunch and then we were supposed to go to Pagan Pride, but it was threatening rain and we were too tired. We also went out to dinner at the Ethiopian restaurant we like so much.
Overall it was a really good visit. After we dropped Pawpaw off at the airport, we took LP to an indoor play area and then he played outside with neighborhood friends when we got home. Needless to say that he fell asleep rather quickly that night.
My mother comes in for Thanksgiving week tomorrow.
